backstory; at the age of 11 she moved from the crystal empire to canterlot. her dad, mom and sister, sparky, lived in the empire for as long as star can remember. her dad found a new, bigger house and a better job in canterlot. she was glad he did, she never never really fitted between the crystal fillies and colts and sparky didn't seem to care about it at all. star was hoping that she would become more active in canterlot.
at her new school she was a very quiet and shy, she barely spoke to anyone. this was a very hard time for her at school. one day she finally made her first friend named caramel cloud. she was also a pegasus and they had weather classes together. in weather class there was a mare named marilyn. stardrup developed feelings for her. later she found out that marilyn was in a group named the l-feathers. she joined the group to become closer to marilyn and they became a couple.
even though she became closer with marilyn, joining the group was a big mistake. she started caring less about school and hang out all day with the l-feathers.
when she graduaded she decided to study more about the weather and got facinated by the rain and water. she studied as much as she could about the water and became a water guard apprentice. later on she became a guardian of the water, what her cutiemark represents.
facts: -all guards earn the name "lapis" when they're a full guard.
-stardrup and marilyn are still a couple.
-after moving to canterlot, star became scared of her sister and the squad she was in.
-caramel cloud owns a family café, what star visits every week.
